Six Shelter Dogs Need YOUR Help!!!

Six Dogs in High-Kill Shelter Need YOUR Help!!!

The Heard dogs from last week's fundraising effort are all safely ensconced in their boarding facilities YAY!!!! THANK-YOU!!!!

Sadly, there are 6 more Georgia dogs that need our help or they will be euthanized. We have been given until Thursday at 9am to get the dogs to safety. There is one who is already past her pts date and horribly one of the dogs we wanted to help was pts (we are not sure why it happened but we are all devastated). We can not get these six out of the shelter without funds for their vetting, boarding and transport.

6 dogs x $280 per dog = $1680 needed to save six lives

Every single donation is tax deductible and is truly appreciated.

You may send donations through PayPal:

Arno - his chances of being adopted at DeKalb are slim and none because he is just a fluffy Heinz 57 dog. He is very sweet and sat nicely to have his photo taken
ID#17097, M fluffy chocolate dog

Huckleberry is a little guy with a great deal to say so he is not really having any luck being adopted. Doxies can not help it they like to chat.

Lolita we are not sure why she is still not adopted but her time is up and we can not allow such an adoptable dog to be put to sleep
ID# 17197, F chi mix

St Bernard Mix.

Her sister was adopted but no one wants her :-( Her put-to-sleep date was today at 9am but we begged for a reprieve so we could raise funds

About Saving Shelter Pets:
Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and pro-actively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.

SSP is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with supporters nationwide. Please see our FAQs for more information.

NOTE: The animals pictured in this or any other message are NOT available for adoption. We do not have the resources to properly screen adoptive homes. We send our dogs and cats to pre-approved no-kill rescues in the Northeast, and these rescues will then adopt them into wonderful forever homes.
