Do you have an American Express Card or an American Express Blue card? Do you collect the reward points? Do you want to help Saving Shelter Pets make a difference in the lives of the dogs and cats but funds are a bit tight right now?? GREAT NEWS!!! You can donate your reward point to SSP through Just Give by clicking the link below:

CLICK HERE TO DONATE TO AMEX POINTS TO SSP

After clinking on the above link click the blue Donate Now button on the web page, scroll about half way down the donation page and Viola! there is the spot to donate your American Express Reward points to Saving Shelter Pets, Inc

5000 points = $50 for the dogs and cats.
10,000 points = $100 for the dogs and cats
When you are donating your points there is even a place where you can enter an "in honor" or "in memoriam" donation. If you are doing this for a friend or loved one it also allows you to send them an email to let them know about your gracious donation in their name, their pet's name, etc.

The good news continues :-) You can also designate for which Saving Shelter Pets, Inc program you would like your American Express Reward Points to benefit. There are 4 from which you can choose:

1. Bernie's Buddies: to treat heart worm positive dogs
2. Puppy Promises: keeps the puppies out of the shelter, spays the mother dog and spays and neuters all other unaltered pets in the household (cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc are included)
3. Rescue and Transport: organinzes the pulling of urgent pets from the high kill shelters in GA. The pets are then quarantined, vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. After teh quarantine and vetting the pets are then transported, via professional transporters, to their Northern rescues.
4. Spay and Neuter: partners with the Humane Society of Columbiana County (OH) and the RASCAL surgery unit, partners with Catnappers to provide low-cost spay surgeries to feral cats in Dougherty County, GA and coming soon a new location in Indiana.

Thank-you in advance for all the donated points, they will truly make a difference in the lives of the dogs and cats.

About Saving Shelter Pets:
Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and pro-actively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.

SSP is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with supporters nationwide. Please see our FAQs for more information.

NOTE: The animals pictured in this or any other message are NOT available for adoption. We do not have the resources to properly screen adoptive homes. We send our dogs and cats to pre-approved no-kill rescues in the Northeast, and these rescues will then adopt them into wonderful forever homes.
