Support Spay Day 2010 -- vote today!

To celebrate Spay Day 2010, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is holding a photo contest to raise funds for approximately 200 rescue groups for their spay & neuter efforts.

We have entered "Hank" (a 2006 SSP rescue dog) in the contest to help raise funds for our spay & neuter clinic next month in Murray County, Georgia.

Please vote for "Hank" today, or enter your own pet in the contest and choose Saving Shelter Pets as your charity. Each vote is just $1 -- and that dollar goes directly to SSP to support our spay & neuter event!

Voting ends at 10pm ET on March 4th. Please help spread the word! Thank you! :)

About Saving Shelter Pets:
Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and pro-actively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.

SSP is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with supporters nationwide. Please see our FAQs for more information.

NOTE: The animals pictured in this or any other message are NOT available for adoption. We do not have the resources to properly screen adoptive homes. We send our dogs and cats to pre-approved no-kill rescues in the Northeast, and these rescues will then adopt them into wonderful forever homes.
