Transport #91 ... lots of cuties!!

We have another full van for May and we are hoping to collect enough donations to send everyone to their rescues in the Northeast. Please take a look at all these cute faces and consider donating a few bucks to help them on their way!

Donations are tax-deductible and 100% goes directly to the dogs you see below.

Litter of 8 Aussie Mix Pups
These 8 pups are part of our Puppy Promises program. They are lucky enough to avoid the shelter environment but still need sponsorship money to cover their shots, deworming, health certificates, transport to rescue, and spay surgery of their momma. Please won't you donate a few bucks to save these cute Aussies?

Total Needed: $425
Raised So Far: $425 Fully sponsored - THANK YOU! :)

Litter of 5 Shep/Husky Mix Pups
This litter of 5 puppies is also part of our Puppy Promises program. With your help, they will hopefully find their new forever homes soon!

Total Needed: $275
Raised So Far: $188
Still Needed: $87

Litter of 4 Lab/Shepherd Mix Pups
How beautiful are these little guys? We're not sure what breed they are, but our best guess is a lab/shepherd mix. They're ready to find their forever homes in the Northeast but still need a little help raising funds to cover their vetting & transport costs. Please consider sponsoring a puppy this spring!

Total Needed: $245
Raised So Far: $245 Fully sponsored - THANK YOU! :)

Litter of 9 Chubby Lab Mix Pups
These chubby pups are 3 months old and growing bigger every second! Please won't you help sponsor these guys on their way to their rescues in Connecticut & Massachusetts?

Total Needed: $475
Raised So Far: $270
Still Needed: $205

Litter of 5 ACD Mix Pups
These gorgeous cattle dog mix pups were signed up for our Puppy Promises program, so instead of being dumped at a high-kill shelter in rural Georgia, they will now be finding forever homes through a wonderful rescue in Connecticut. Unfortunately, their owners did not want their mom "Cupcake" either, so she hopes to find a new home in the Northeast as well.

Total Needed: $325
Raised So Far: $75 Fully sponsored - THANK YOU!! :)

"Cupcake"
Cupcake is the momma to the pups pictured above. We can't bare to leave her behind while her puppies go to the Northeast, so she would love to hop on board Transport #91 as well. She needs $250 to cover her shots, deworming, spay surgery, health certificate, and transport.

Total Needed: $250
Raised So Far: $250 Fully sponsored - THANK YOU! :)

"Reggie"
Reggie is a sad case of what happens too often in the south. He's a young, handsome beagle/bluetick coonhound mix who unfortunately cannot find a home in the south due to the overcrowdng of shelters. We know he will have a much better chance at adoption in Connecticut. He just needs $250 to cover his shots, deworming, spay surgery, health certificate, and transport.

Total Needed: $250
Raised So Far: $250 Fully sponsored - THANK YOU!!! :)

"Max"
Max's story is similar to Reggie's. He's another handsome dog who just needs better luck finding his forever home, and we hope he finds it soon in Massachusetts! Since he is already neutered, Max only needs $200 in sponsorship to cover his other vetting & transport costs.

Total Needed: $200
Raised So Far: $45
Still Needed: $155

Noble & Holly Bear (PREVIOUSLY SPONSORED)

Noble and Holly Bear are two dogs who were supposed to go on previous transports but had to stay behind due to testing positive for heartworm. They have both completed their heartworm treatment, and are now ready to finish their journey to the Northeast! Thank you again to everyone who donated to these 2 in the past couple months, and we wish them the best of luck in their new lives! :)

About Saving Shelter Pets:

Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and pro-actively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.

SSP is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with supporters nationwide. Please see our FAQs for more information.

NOTE: The animals pictured in this or any other message are NOT available for adoption. We do not have the resources to properly screen adoptive homes. We send our dogs and cats to pre-approved no-kill rescues in the Northeast, and these rescues will then adopt them into wonderful forever homes.
