Happy New Year From SSP!!

Hello all from Saving Shelter Pets!! We hope your New Year is off to a fabulous start!!  Below are a few miscellaneous SSP items of interest:

DECEMBER TRANSPORT - Last month we successfully raised funds for our 100th rescue transport!!  All of the pups were safely transported to their rescues, and should be well on their way to happy homes.  Thanks so much to everyone who helped!!

THE GIVEAWAY - As part of our December transport fundraiser, one of our awesome supporters donated a $50 Amazon gift card.  She asked that we give the card to one randomly  chosen individual who donated to the transport (including our regular monthly donors).

THE WINNER - Earlier this week, we set up the random drawing for the giveaway (using the Random Sequencer on the Random.org website).  AND, the winner of the Amazon gift card is:  Lynn Christian!!

Congratulations Lynn!!  We'll be in touch to make mailing arrangements for the card.

UP NEXT - A happy update for one of our pups!!  Stay tuned for our next blog post!!

ALSO - We are getting together a small (we think) group of homeless puppies for our next rescue effort. Look for our fundraiser featuring adorable puppy pictures soon!!

Thanks to each and every one of you for your support this past year!!  We look forward to working with you to save many more precious lives in 2013!!

About Saving Shelter Pets:

Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) strives to eliminate euthanasia as a method of population control for homeless companion animals, by providing no-kill alternative solutions and pro-actively addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.

SSP is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with supporters nationwide. Please see our FAQs for more information.

NOTE: The animals pictured in this or any other message are NOT available for adoption. We do not have the resources to properly screen adoptive homes. We send our dogs and cats to pre-approved no-kill rescues in the Northeast, and these rescues will then adopt them into wonderful forever homes.
